The Eyal Vilner Trio (3/28–29), with Martha Kato on piano and Alvester Garnett on drums, keeps things tight and easy, while the Eyal Vilner Swing Band (3/30) opens it up with Nathaniel Williford on trumpet, Ron Wilkins on trombone, and Ian Hutchison on bass. Rooted in swing but always in motion, the music settles into a groove and carries the night forward. Come for a set and see where it takes you. Note: Friday night features an open Jam Session hosted by Mariel Bildsten, where musicians of all levels are invited to join the stage.
