  Come join us for another installment of Annual KD Festival Trumpet Summit celebrating the past, present, and future influence and impact of “the uncrowned king” Kenny Dorham, led by rising trumpeters Kal Ferretti, James Haddad, Skylar Tang, and Andrew Wagner. They’re joined by pianist Maki Nientao, bassist Jayla Chee, and drummer Willie Bowman with special guest tenor saxophone player Stacy Dillard for three nights of music drawn a deep study of the genius of KD's music and his legacy, along with bringing the band’s perspective of what it means to celebrate this music in 2026. Members of Dorham’s family will also be in attendance, making this an especially meaningful celebration. Note: Friday night features an open Jam Session hosted by special guest Bruce Harris, where musicians of all levels are invited to join the stage. Thursday and Saturday are featured performances only.
